Price Earns Important Double Up, Gruissem Bubbles

Nível 4

Oliver Price just doubled with his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} against Igor Yaroshevsky's {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Price got his 15,000 something stack times twice.

Not much later, Philipp Gruissem busted on the same table. He shoved from the small blind with {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Isaac Haxton in the big blind called with {A-Spades}{3-Spades}. The board ran out {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and the German made his exit in fourth.

The remaining four players are awarded points; Mizzi (Canada), Haxton (United States), Yaroshevsky (Ukraine) and Price (United Kingdom) are still in over at table 1.

Lunkin and Ladouceur Depart

Nível 4

Almost at the same time, Vitaly Lunkin and Marc-Andre Ladouceur were shoving before busting.

Ladouceur moved all in for 17,000 with {7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} from the button and was called by Erwann Pecheux in the big blind, who held {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}. The board ran {q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Team Canada earned a single point for the fourth-place finish.

Lunkin had a similar amount when he moved all in from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Man of the day, Giuliano Bendinelli, was in the big blind with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and made the call. The board ran {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. He's now heads up with Oleksandr Gnatenko.

Mizzi Busted in Third, Haxton and Yaroshevsky Remain

Nível 4
Isaac Haxton - Igor Yaroshevsky
Isaac Haxton - Igor Yaroshevsky

Sorel Mizzi was third in chips when he just moved all in before the flop in a three-handed game against Isaac Haxton and Igor Yaroshevsky. Haxton went into the tank for a very long time to figure out what the correct math on the decision was, but ultimately he called.

Haxton: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Mizzi: {J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Mizzi was knocked out giving Haxton a big chip advantage to secure a victory.

Kanit Falls in Third

Nível 4
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Mustapha Kanit and Marvin Rettenmaier got their chips in before the flop. They both showed one card first; Kanit the {5-Diamonds}, Rettenmaier the {A-Diamonds}. Kanit then showed the {Q-Clubs}, and Rettenmaier the... {A-Hearts}.

Kanit laughed and messed up Rettenmaier's stack to teach him a lesson not to slowroll an Italian.

The board came {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the counting if the chips began. Kanit had 100 chips kless and finished in third. Heads up between Italy and France now on Table 5.
