Action was three ways with 8♦6♦4♣ on the board when a player in the small blind bet 7,800 into a growing pot. David "ODB" Baker responded with a raise to 21,000 before a player on the button slid out a stack of grey T-5,000 chips. The small blind folded and Baker called for a total of 38,700. Action was heads up and Baker was at risk.
David "ODB" Baker: 5♥5♣
Button: 5♦4♦
The board finished up 9♥J♣ and Baker dodged all of the trouble to jump over the 100,000 mark with pocket fives.
Action was heads up with 7♠A♥K♥ on the board and Andrew Moreno was all in for his last 18,000. Zack Fuentes put him at risk from the next seat over and the cards were turned up.
Andrew Moreno: 9♥4♥
Zack Fuentes: K♦10♠
The board finished up 7♠Q♠ and Moreno hit the rail with a missed flush draw.
On the next hand, Fuentes raised to 1,000 from the button, and the big blind tossed in chips to call. The big blind checked a flop of K♦K♠10♦ and called when Fuentes bet 1,500. The turn was K♥ and the big blind check-called again for 5,200. It was another check-call on the 6♥ river to a bet of 3,200 and Fuentes turned over K♦9♥ for three kings. The big blind tossed the losing hand in the muck.
Nick Pupillo raised to 1,100 from under the gun, Jeffrey Farnes flatted in middle position, the small blind called, and Johnnie Moreno came along from the big blind.
The dealer spread the J♦9♠4♥ flop and action checked to Pupillo who bet 3,200. Farnes raised all in for 11,100 and the small blind deliberated and called.
Moreno got out of the way before Pupillo rejammed for 24,700. The small blind thought about it but sent his cards into the muck.
Jeffrey Farnes: Q♥J♠
Nick Pupillo: 10♥8♥
The 5♣ turn and 2♥ river kept Farnes ahead and he secured the pot.
