In a preflop confrontation Mihai Tusnea was all in from middle position for roughly 350,000 and up against Maher Achour on the button who held a covering stack.
Mihai Tusnea: K♥K♣
Maher Achour: A♠K♦
Tusnea remained ahead on the Q♥10♠3♦10♦5♠ runout and collected a full double up through Achour.
Ionel Anton opened to 50,000 from early position and was called by Michel Habib in middle position and Andrey Pateychuk in the big blind.
The flop came Q♣8♣6♦ and action checked around to Habib who bet 50,000. Pateychuk got out of the way while Anton made the call.
Anton checked again on the 3♦ turn and Habib bet 125,000. Anton put in a check-raise to 275,000 and Habib called.
Both players checked the A♣ river. Anton tabled A♦J♦ for a missed flush draw that turned into top pair on the river. Habib turned over 6♥6♣ for a set of sixes to take down a sizable pot.
Anton Markov, down to his last 25,000, called from under the gun. Tomy Greineisen raised to 90,000 from the button and all other players folded leaving Markov at risk.
Anton Markov: A♣5♠
Tomy Greineisen: K♣J♣
The board ran out 7♥9♥10♠6♠8♥. Greineisen made a straight on the river to sent Markov to the rail on the stone bubble.
George Tomescu was down to his last 50,000 and was automatically all in after posting the big blind and big blind ante. In a surprising turn of events, all other players at his table folded preflop allowing Tomescu to stay alive for potentially another orbit before having to move all in again.
With two players seeing a board of 6♦10♥2♦4♥ and roughly 150,000 in the middle, Bart Lybaert bet 165,000 from the big blind and was called by Fausto Tantillo in middle position.
On the J♣ river Lybaert moved all in, covering Tantillo who had roughly 350,000 behind. Tantillo thought for a couple minutes before making the call.
Lybaert could only show 9♠8♣ for a bluff while Tantillo turned over A♥J♥ for top pair to score a second double up on the stone bubble.
