Dan Smith jumped in right before the late registration period ended and has already found a few chips. Guillaume Nolet opened to 24,000 from middle position, Fedor Holz called on the button and Dan Smith shoved 120,000 from the small blind. Nolet was the lone-caller and they turned over their hands.

The flop came down and Smith was still leading the way with his higher kicker. A left Nolet in need of a nine to drop Smith from the field but an river was not it and Smith pulled in the pot, adding some chips to the stack of a dangerous player.
