Pete Chen & Elior "poopypie" Sion Bubble the Bounty Hunters Main Event

Nível 19 : 15,000/30,000, 4,500 ante
End of the line for Chen
End of the line for Chen

After quite a few hand-for-hand hands with no bustouts, both Pete Chen and Elior "poopypie" Sion got eliminated to give the rest of the players money for their efforts.

Sion had {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} all in against the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} of Bruno Volkmann, but was dead after the turn on a {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} board.

In Chen's final hand, it was Rui Ferreira who raised to 52,500 on the button. Chen three-bet shoved 560,459 from the small blind, Linus Loeliger came over the top in the big blind, and Ferreira folded.

Pete Chen: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Linus Loeliger: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} to make it an easy hold for Loeliger and end it for Chen. All remaining players are guaranteed at least $7,270.

Klodnicki Crushes Astedt

Nível 10 : 2,500/5,000, 750 ante
Chris Klodnicki
Chris Klodnicki

Chris Klodnicki raised to 11,500 from under the gun, Niklas Astedt three-bet to 35,500 in the cutoff, and Klodnicki called. On the {6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, Klodnicki check-called 25,640 from Astedt before both players virtually tapped the felt on the {6-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {3-Hearts} and Klodnicki bet 85,524 after some thought. Astedt shoved all in for 328,293 and Klodnicki called it off after taking his time.

Astedt had just the nut blocker with {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} and had turned his pair turned into a bluff. Klodnicki tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the king-high flush to take a huge bounty and lead.

Bounty Hunting w/Adams & Derzhypilskyi

Nível 4 : 800/1,600, 250 ante
Two bounties awarded
Two bounties awarded

Andrii Derzhypilskyi made it 3,520 to go first to act and "Apowers1968", already on his second bullet, called all in for a mere 169 one seat over. With the bounty in play, "ULMFKR" shoved all in for a whopping 96,620 next to act, but more players were interested.

Folded to Timothy Adams in the big blind, he called all in for 91,654. Derzhypilskyi also called, covering all three other players.

"Apowers1968": {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}
"ULMFKR": {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Timothy Adams: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Andrii Derzhypilskyi: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for Adams to turn two pair and the main pot. Derzhypilsky won the small side pot off "ULMFKR" and despite barely getting any chips out of it, the Ukrainian ended up with a bounty as well.

First Bounty is for Malinowski

Nível 1 : 400/800, 120 ante
Aces for Malinowski
Aces for Malinowski

Wiktor Malinowski has become the first player to stick 25% of the buy-in back in his pocket as he took down "Apowers1968" in the process. After a raise from Thomas Muehloecker and a three-bet from "Apowers1968", Malinowski four-bet to 13,760 and got "Apowers1968" along for a call.

The {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop saw Malinowski continue for 7,360 and "Apowers1968" call. Both players checked the {q-Clubs} on the turn to see the {6-Diamonds} river appear. Malinowski simply shipped it in and "Apowers1968" called off 66,362 with {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. Malinowski, however, had {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} to win and capture his first scalp.

One of the Biggest Nights of the Year on GGPoker is Here!

GGSF
GGSF

Millions in guarantees are on the line on Super Sunday of the GG Spring Festival, with the two headliner events with $12M in guarantees alone between them continuing later tonight. PokerNews will be your one-stop shop on Sunday as we'll be bringing you live coverage from five different events.

First up is an event that certainly qualifies as more than just an appetizer, as the H-106: $5,250 Bounty Hunters Main Event will see some of the best duke it out to capture the biggest slice of the $1.5M guaranteed prize pool that's attached to this one.

The guaranteed seven figs are sure to attract plenty of notables, and many of them are already in for an early start to try and accumulate as many bounties as they can. That bounty part is big, too, as $2.5K of the $5K buy-in will be on everyone's head in the well-known PKO-format. Players will start the dance with 100,000 in chips and the last-chance saloon will be closed for business after level 13.

Levels will be 20 minutes throughout and a winner will be crowned at the end of the night, joining the likes of Konstantin Maslak, Dawid "INSERTC0IN" Smolka, and Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb, who all won this very event on the previous three Sundays of this festival.

Using GG's innovative staking feature, players are already selling off their action to spice things up for their followers. Make sure to check out the GGPoker client or sign up below if you haven't got one yet to quickly jump into all the action.

Cards will be in the air soon, so check back regularly to PokerNews throughout the night as we'll bring you all the action from the GGSF!
