Luca Sent to the Rail

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Ivan Luca defended his small blind to see a flop of {7-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} and the Argentinian as well as Christopher Andler invested 3,550 chips to see the {9-Clubs} turn. Luca fired 7,575 and was called by Andler to check the {4-Hearts} river.

Andler pushed his blue chips forward and Luca called off for around 13,000 chips with {7-Spades} {6-Spades}. The Swede had that beat with {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and scored the knockout.

Simunic Under Pressure

Nível 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Josip Simunic raised under the gun plus one to 1,200 and a player in late position three-bet to 2,800. The action folded back to the EPT Deauville High Roller winner, who's sporting his Slyde watch, and he made the call.

The flop brought out {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Simunic check-called 3,000. On the turn the {3-Diamonds} hit and this time Simunic opted to surrender his hand after he was faced with a bet of 7,600.

Simunic has had a day filled with swings so far, his peak being 45,000 and his low 8,000, on a tough table with Griffin Benger and Carlos Chadha.

Duhamel On the Rise

Nível 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Jonathan Duhamel was down to as low as 16,000 chips today but has staged a nice comeback. In one of the last few hands, the Canadian defended his big blind against the raise of his opponent from under the gun and saw the flop of {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}. The Canadian check-raised from 1,300 to 3,000 and that did the trick, as his opponent folded.

More for Margets

Nível 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Leo Margets
Leo Margets

A player in middle position opened for 1,100 in the last level and Leo Margets made the call from the hijack. Her neighbor in the cutoff three bet to 3,200 and just Margets made the call, the initial raiser folded before her.

Both players checked the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and Margets lead out for 5,000 on the {2-Spades} turn. Margets' opponent made the call and the Spanish PokerStars Team Pro bet another 13,600 when the {A-Hearts} completed the board.

Margets her opponent tanked for quite some time before eventually folding.

Pim de Goede, seated on the button in this hand, later commented he had folded pocket tens before in a discussion about the hand. "She's running out of cards" Sam Trickett laughed. Marget said she would have been in a sick spot if her opponent had raised her on the river, but admitted she would probably had called.

What she had? We will probably never know.

Silver Binks One Outer against Benhamou

Nível 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

Max Silver has had a pretty sick rush lately and the biggest pot came off the elimination of Brian Benhamou. After a {9-} {8-} {5-} rainbow flop, a four-bet pot emerged with Silver putting Benhamou at risk with pocket fives. The Frenchman had pocket eights for the higher set but the turn brought the case five left in the deck.

Soon after, Silver also got three streets of value from a nutflush and is suddenly all the way up to 170,000 chips.
