After a raise to 26,000 from early position it was Walid Bou Habib calling on the button and Michael Tureniec calling from the small blind.
The flop came and Tureniec checked to the initial raiser. No continuation bet followed so action was on Bou Habib. The EPT Deauville 2013 runner up bet 36,000 and Tureniec check raised to 126,000. The initial raiser folded, Bou Habib called.
Tureniec shoved all in on the turn and Bou Habib made the call.
Walid Bou Habib:
Michael Tureniec:
Bou Habib had just a single out left and didn't hit his miracle card, the on the river was a blank and Bou Habib forfeited a large portion of his chips.
The pressure has been building as we're getting closer and closer to the money, but Dutchman Puk Nabuurs isn't fazed by it just yet.
Nabuurs just raised before the flop and got three-bet to 58,000 by Rui Ferreira in the big blind. Nabuurs put in a four-bet to 121,000 and Ferreira tanked for several minutes before letting go of his hand. Nabuurs raked in the pot and 41 players still remain.
Simon Higgins in the cutoff and Adrian Mateos in the small blind got their chips in the middle before the flop. Mateos was the one at risk with about 130,000 in chips, Higgins had his Spanish opponent easily covered.

Adrian Mateos:
The board ran out and Mateos doubled.
"Kids these days, get their chips in with ace nine" Fabian Quoss laughed.
Jonathan Little moved all in from the cutoff for 88,000 and Ludovic Geilich tanked for a very long time from the button before making the call. Both blinds folded and the showdown went as following.

Geilich:
The board ran out and Little doubled up as we are two spots from the money.
Sam Greenwood just helped us piece together a huge pot that was won by Bernd Vogelhuber. From the button Vogelhuber had raised, Nabuurs three-bet and Vogelhuber called.
The flop came down , Nabuurs bet and Vogelhuber called. On the turn the hit and both players checked. On the river the hit and according to Greenwood, Nabuurs bet, Vogelhuber moved all in and the Dutchman called.
Vogelhuber showed for trips and Nabuurs showed , and his hand was mucked.
