Dmitry Yurasov Eliminated in 10th Place (€60,850)

Nível 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Dmitry Yurasov
Dmitry Yurasov

Dimitri Yurasov opened to 120,000 under the gun, and action folded to Ihar Soika in the big blind. Soika moved all in, effectively not at risk himself but putting Yurasov to the ultimate test. Yurasov instantly made the call for 825,000, and the cards had to be opened again.

Yurasov: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Soika: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Again sixes for Soika, and again he would win. The flop was perfect for Soika: {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and {3-Clubs} on the river were no good for Yurasov, and with a bad beat he left the tournament.

Alexander Roumeliotis shoved all in from the cutoff for his remaining 270,000. Ihar Soika called on the button, all others folded.

Roumeliotis: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Soika: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} didn't do Roumeliotis any good, and he left in 11th place.

Dylan Linde Eliminated in 12th Place (€52,800)

Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Ami Barer opened the button for 120,000, and Dylan Linde instantly shoved all in from the small blind. Ismail Erkenov folded his big blind, and Barer asked how much it was (920,000 approximately), and called immediately after getting an answer from Linde.

Barer: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Linde: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop was still good for Linde, and the {9-Spades} on the turn didn't eliminate him yet either, but the {7-Spades} counterfeited his hand and Linde had to make his exit in 12th place.

Agshin Rasulov Eliminated in 13th Place (€52,800)

Agshin Rasulov

Agshin Rasulov open shoved under the gun for 420,000, and Jason Mercier asked how much it was, and called from the cutoff. The button and both blinds folded, and Mercier showed he had the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, Rasulov had {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The board bricked out for Rasulov: {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Mercier eliminated the first player after the break.

Joao Vieira Eliminated in 14th Place (€46,600)

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Joao Vieira was pushing more than once, but this time he found a caller. Vieira pushed all in for about 925,000, and Stephen Chidwick showed interest by pushing in the same amount.

The other players got out of their way, and the cards had to be opened.

Vieira had {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and was up against Chidwick's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

The {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}-flop made things exciting, but the {8-Spades} on the turn and {7-Diamonds} on the river did nothing for Vieira. The last Portuguese player made his exit in 14th, picking up €46,600. The remaining 13 players are now guaranteed €52,800.

Soika Wins 2.335 Million-Chip Pot

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Ihar Soika
Ihar Soika

From the hijack seat, Ihar Soika raised to 100,000. Carlos Chadha called from the small blind, and the two saw the flop come down {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Chadha checked, and Soika bet 130,000. Chadha called.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} to pair the board, and Chadha checked. Soika fired 265,000, and Chadha called again.

The river was the {5-Spades}, and Chadha checked. Soika piled up some chips and fired 630,000. After a few long minutes in the tank, Chadha called, but couldn't beat the {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} that Soika showed for a diamond flush. Chadha mucked and was knocked to 1.085 million in chips.

Up All Day to Get Lucky

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Marc-Andre Ladouceur opened under the gun to 85,000, and Ihar Soika (cutoff) and Dmitry Yurasov (button) made the call. Jason Mercier in the small blind pushed all in for 765,000, and the big blind quickly folded. So did Ladouceur, but Soika had other plans. He announced all in over the top, and Yurasov quickly folded.

Ihar Soika: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jason Mercier: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} on the flop already wasn't bad, but the {8-Spades} on the turn was truly magnificent for the Team Pro. Mercier just needed to dodge a nine, ten, and four, and did just that with the {Q-Spades} on the river.

Roumeliotis Down to 11,000 - Start of Epic Comeback

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Alexander Roumeliotis
Alexander Roumeliotis

Alexander Roumeliotis opened to 60,000, and Jason Mercier shoved from the button for 587,000. Both blinds folded, Roumeliotis made the call.

Roumeliotis: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Mercier: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} on the flop was good for Mercier, and he was guaranteed to double with the {A-Clubs} on the turn. Alexander Roumeliotis made two pair with the {K-Clubs}, but it still wasn't enough.

While Mercier doubled, Roumeliotis was down to just 15,000 - 4,000 of which he needed to invest as his ante. He was blind all in from the big blind the next hand, and doubled with {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} through Ihar Soika's {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

The next hand he got even richer. Soika opened to 60,000, and Dmitry Yurasov made the call. Marc-Andre Ladouceur on the button squeezed to 195,000 and Roumeliotis called all in for 57,000 from the small blind. Soika four bet to 427,000, and Yurasov and Ladouceur both folded.

Soika showed {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Roumeliotis said "Yes! I don't think this could've gone any better for me" while showing {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} on the board was good for Roumeliotis, and he got his 57,000 stack back times four, plus a big blind and some antes.

"I'm back!" - Roumeliotis laughed.

Barer and Erkenov Play Zillion-Chip Pot

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Ami Barer - Ismail Erkenov
Ami Barer - Ismail Erkenov

Ami Barer opened the button to 48,000, and Dylan Linde quickly folded his small blind. Ismail Erkenov in the big blind made the call though, and they were off to see a flop: {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Erkenov checked to Barer and the Canadian made a 60,000 continuation bet. Erkenov called.

So far, nothing really special, but on the turn things got heated. The {5-Spades} made Erkenov check again, and Barer continued his aggression with a 144,000 bet. Erkenov answered with a check raise to 350,000. Barer made the call.

The {2-Clubs} completed the board, and Erkenov wasn't backing down. He grabbed a bunch of 25,000 chips, counted them, and slid them forward in one big tower worth 575,000.

Barer had a tough decision, and at some times looked physically in pain by it. Minutes past with Barer in the tank, but eventually he took 100,000 worth of 25,000 chips, and slammed them across the line to indicate the call.

"Nice hand" said Erkenov after he showed {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} for nothing much of anything. Barer showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and took down one of the biggest pots of the tournament.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy Eliminated in 20th Place (€38,100)

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Agshin Rasulov opened and Vladimir Troyanovskiy made the call from the big blind. Troyanovskiy checked to the player from Azerbaijan on {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and he answered with a 57,000 continuation bet.

Troyanovskiy took a second, and announced all in. After a count, it turned out to be 277,000 more to Rasulov. He thought about it for quite some time, and Sergi Reixach Lloveras thought he had already called and made this known to the dealer. Lloveras spoke to soon though, as Rsulov hadn't made up his mind just yet, but eventually would call.

Troyanovskiy: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Rasulov: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Troyanovskiy needed some improvement, but didn't get the one he was looking for: {Q-Diamonds} ont he turn. Troyanovskiy had two pair, but was behind against Rasulov's straight. Just a queen or jack could save him, but instead the wrong card paired the board on the river: {10-Clubs}.

Troyanovskiy headed to the pay-out desk to collect €38,100 for his 20th place finish.
