Ruijs Fills Up to Nearly Double Off Kisacikoglu

With around 25,000 in the pot on a board of 4♦10♦10♠, Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 5,000 from the small blind and Joris Ruijs raised to 16,500 in the cutoff.

Kisacikoglu called to the 5♥ turn and both players checked. The river was the 8♥ and Ruijs bet 98,000, leaving only around 2,000 behind. Kisacikoglu tanked for several minutes until he called.

Ruijs then showed 8♣8♦ for a rivered full house and Kisacikoglu mucked.

This hand took so long to play that Steve O'Dwyer had enough time to register again and retake his old seat at the table. "DId I only miss one hand," he asked as he sat back down.

Kisacikoglu Gets Involved in Another Lengthy Pot

Sergi Reixach raised to 3,500 in the hijack and received two callers before Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 16,000 in the big blind. Only Reixach called.

The flop came Q♦2♣4♠ and Kisacikoglu continued for 8,000. Reixach called and the 5♠ turn was checked through.

The river was the 7♠ and Kisacikoglu bet 55,000, enough to put Reixach all in. Reixach tossed in all his time bank cards and burned through four of them as he tanked for more than two minutes until mucking.

At the same table, Kayhan Mokri has accumulated a stack of around 250,000 so far on the day.

PokerStars Announces Full Five Stop 2024 EPT Schedule; Paris and Cyprus Return

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.

EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, leading to a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
