Van Luijk Sniffs Out a Bluff From Wenzelburger

Adrian Mateos raised to 100,000 in early position, Derk van Luijk called on the button, and Philipp Wenzelburger came along from the big blind.

All three players checked the 3♦J♦9♥ flop. The turn was the 5♥ and Mateos bet 125,000.

Van Luijk and Wenzelburger both called to see the 8♣ river. Action then checked to van Luijk who bet 200,000. Wenzelburger raised to 500,000 and Mateos folded 10♣9♣.

Van Luijk, though, called with Q♣J♣ for top pair. Wenzelburger mucked 10♦8♦ and van Luijk took down the big pot to virtually double up.

Javier Caballo raised to 100,000 second to act and saw action fold to Boris Angelov, who was in the small blind. He three-bet to 265,000 to put the action back on Caballo.

Caballo, who had around 900,000 total, moved all in after using a time bank. Angelov quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Pastore Folds Out Caballo; Value for Cibicek

On the next deal, Jozef Cibicek was first to act and raised to 100,000. Boris Angelov defended his big blind.

Angelov check-called for 70,000 on the Q♠J♣9♦ flop before the J♦ turn checked through to the 4♣ river.

Angelov checked then snap-called when Cibicek bet 220,000.
