The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Monte Carlo is fast approaching, kicking off on April 24. The EPT has been visiting Monte Carlo for years, and this year's edition has the potential to be the most memorable yet, with a large number of participants expected. The exclusive principality on the Mediterranean Sea is sure to attract poker players from far and wide this spring.
However, as always, EPTs are not just about poker. The EPT will provide a full range of activities for players and their guests, ensuring that there is always something to do, whether you are at the poker table or not.
The remaining 527 players are now on a 20-minute break and will return shortly. It's the last break before the 75-minute dinner break.
Gerard Carbo, a Power Path qualifier, opened to 2,000 from middle position and Theo Milioni defended his big blind.
Milioni check-called bets of 1,500 and 5,000 for the final board to read K♦9♥5♠3♦J♣. Milioni checked for a third time and Carbo jammed for 10,800. Millioni, who only just had Carbo covered, went deep into the tank for several minutes before deciding to call.
Carbo tabled K♣5♣ for two pair and Milioni mucked. His cards were never revealed and he was eliminated shortly after.

Fintan Hand raised to 2,000 in early position before Claudio Tornetta three-bet to 6,000 in middle position. Ilia Fathi called in the big blind but then attempted to pull his chips back.
"I didn't see it," Fathi said, explaining he only meant to call Hand's raise and didn't notice Tornetta had reraised. Tornetta pointed out that he had already said call and his chips must remain in the middle.
"You're very eager for that extra 6,000," Hand said to Tornetta as he also called.
The flop came 9♠2♦Q♦ and Fathi moved all in for 6,500. Hand folded, but Tornetta snap-called.
Ilia Fathi: 9♣4♦
Claudio Tornetta: Q♣Q♥
Fathi had run into Tornetta's flopped set. "Diamonds are live," a tablemate said optimistically, but Fathi missed the 8♥ turn and 7♣ river and headed to the rail.
