Lococo Wins at Showdown

The flop came A♦Q♣3♦, and it was checked to Gutierrez. He made it 30,000, before Lococo raised to 100,000. It was called and it went to a turn.

A K♠ hit and both players opted to check.

It was the same story on the 2♠ river - with neither player betting. Gutierrez tabled Q♦8♦, while Lococo scooped the pot with K♣10♥.

Talbot Out After Running Into Aces

Shimizu check-called a 60,000 bet from Bonanata on the 3♥7♦J♣ flop and both players checked on the 5♣ turn.

The 4♣ completed the board and Shimizu shoved for his last 105,000. Bonanata asked for a count and called.

Shimizu could only show 9♦8♥ for a busted straight draw and Bonanata tabled A♥3♦ for a pair of threes for the elimination.

A 7♠ on the turn prompted Bonanata to stand from his chair, already resigned to his exit.

But an 8♠ on the river saved his tournament life and earned him a priceless double up. Shimizu was involved in a big pot next hand, where he got Masato Kashiwabara to fold his hand, which earned him back some of the chips he lost.

Labat Forces a Fold From Danchev
