Taborsky Gets Value From Mahonen

Nível 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

David Taborsky opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by Cyril Mira on the button and Jari Mahonen in the big blind.

Action checked to Taborsky on the 62Q flop and he continued for a 1,200 bet. Mira folded, but Mahonen called.

Both players checked on the 8 turn and Mahonen checked a final time on the 8 river. Taborsky bet 3,100 and Mahonen quickly called.

Taborsky turned over 1010 for tens-up and Mahonen mucked — conceding the pot to Taborsky.

At another table, Alejandro Lococo was eliminated after getting all in with sevens against an opponent's aces and failing to improve.

Drusca Gives Up After Flop Click

Nível 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

With around 5,000 chips in the middle, Stefan Drusca, under the gun, checked to Petr Novotny in middle position on a flop of 29A. Novotny then fired a small bet of 1,500 chips, which Drusca raised to 3,700.

Novotny put in the call before both players checked the J turn. The 5 river also checked through, and Drusca showed his 87 for eight-high.

Novotny's AQ beat that comfortably and he added some more chips to his stack.
