Alexander Ivarsson was in the big blind in a heads-up pot against Antoine Saout in the cutoff on a board of with around 65,000 already in the middle.
Ivarsson checked on the river and Saout moved all in for around 49,000. Ivarsson went deep into the tank and made a series of confused faces as he examined the board. After several minutes, he called.
Saout showed a bluff with for ace-high and Ivarsson turned over for two pair to eliminate the French poker star.
The rest of the table was likely happy with the result as Saout is one of the most accomplished players in the field with $9.3 million in live tournament earnings, including a recent runner-up finish in the EPT Prague Main Event for €800,000.
