Nível 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

Leon Sturm kicked off the action with a raise to 13,000 from the hijack. Francisco Benitez called from the button and Biao Ding followed suit from the small blind.

Kayhan Mokri was sitting in the big blind and thought if over for a bit before jamming in his stack of 241,000 chips. Sturm quickly folded but Benitez went deep into the tank.

After using a few time bank extensions, he slammed in a tower of chips for a rejam, also covering Ding. Ding would got out of the way, however, leading to a showdown between the other two players.

Kayhan Mokri: AK
Francisco Benitez: 88

Mokri paired his king on 4KJ and the eights remained absent on the 97 runout, doubling him up and leaving Benitez with less than a starting stack.

On the 5 river Sturm checked and Vaskaboinikau moved all in, covering Sturm's remaining stack of 62,000. Sturm snap-called.

Vaskaboinikau revealed Q10 for a bluff while Sturm tabled A7 for two pair, aces and eights to secure a full double up.
