Kuznetsov Uses Nine Time Banks

Nikita Kuznetsov opened to 120,000 in early position and Victor Yugay three-bet to 280,000 in the big blind. Kuznetsov called.

Yugay continued for 240,000 on the 9♠5♦7♠ flop and Kuznetsov called. Yugay then bet 325,000 on the 3♣ turn to send Kuznetsov deep into the tank as he considered calling off for his remaining 730,000.

Kuznetsov wound up using nine of his 30-second shot clocks before tossing his cards into the muck, flipping over the J♦ as he did so.

Marc Foggin opened to 125,000 from under the gun and Bjorn Kozenkai three-bet to 375,000 from early position. Foggin used one time extension before making the call.

The flop came K♥K♦6♥. Foggin checked, Kozenkai bet 225,000 and Foggin moved all in for 1,150,000. Kozenkai used two time extensions before calling with a covering stack.

Tetart Time Banks Carbo into a Bigger Blind; Break Begins

In the last hand before the break, Gerard Carbo jammed for 350,000 from under the gun. Nathan Tetart went deep into the tank, looking at the tournament clock. He used up four-time banks before folding, which confirmed that Carbo would be returning from the break as the big blind, and would have to pay 80,000 (plus another 80,000 for the big blind ante) rather than 60,000.

Tetart folded and the rest of the players followed suit.
