On the latest episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Connor Richards, and Matt Hansen talk about Ari Engel capturing his record 16th World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit gold ring, remember poker author Anthony Holden, and reveal what six new players have confirmed to play the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop. They also recap Isaac Haxton winning the Super High Roller Bowl, winners from the Mixed Game Series II, WSOP Player of the Year Ian Matakis winning another tournament, and Next Gen Poker
becoming ambassadors for PokerStars USA ahead of the NAPT.
Chad also shares highlights from his vacation on a Virgin Voyages cruise where he played in the WPT at Sea poker room, Matt tells you how you can win a seat into the $10,000 WPT World Championship, and Connor comes to you straight from the EPT Cyprus, which just kicked off.
Finally, Chad chats with Jeffrey Allan Grosso, author of the poker book Dirty Dealing. In it, he alleges that his ideas and screenplay were stolen by Miramax Films and ultimately turned into the movie Rounders. It might sound crazy, but there was a court case and everything. Chad read the book prior to chatting with Grosso, who opened up about what he claims happened, how he feels about it, and why he ultimately decided to write a book about his experience.

The remaining 64 players are now on a 45-minute dinner break.
Action should resume around 8 p.m. local time.
Highlights:
Simeon Spasov moved all in for 68,000 in the cutoff and Kenny Hallaert called from the small blind. Shuang Luo in the big blind then three-bet to 225,000, forcing Hallaert out of the pot and leaving her heads-up with a chance to take out Spasov.
Simeon Spasov: A♦K♦
Shuang Luo: A♠Q♣
Spasov had Luo dominated and held on through the 8♥8♠4♥10♦A♥ board as both players ended up with two pair. Spasov's king-kicker earned him the pot and a triple up.

Alexandre Pruneau opened under the gun to 20,000 before the action was on Marius Irimia on the button. He went in to the tank for a moment and then put in a three-bet to the tune of 65,000. It was back on Pruneau who went into the tank and even burned a time bank as he decided on his next move. Eventually, he pushed in a four-bet to 369,000 with only 1,000 left behind. Irimia only took a moment before announcing he was all in and the last 1,000 of Pruneau went into the middle.
Alexandre Pruneau: A♥K♥
Marius Irimia: A♠K♠
There was no drama on the board of 10♠10♣4♥4♣5♥ and they would chop the pot after some aggression preflop.
The very next hand Nikita Kuznetsov opened under the gun to 22,000 and action folded all the way to Pruneau in the big blind who seemed to have another playable hand as he didn't take long and put in a three-bet of his own to 90,000. Kuznetsov tossed away his hand and Pruneau dragged another small pot to chip up just before dinner break.
