Reixach Hero Calls Diaz

Nível 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sergi Reixach
Sergi Reixach

Martin Diaz raised to 125,000, from middle position. Sergi Reixach defended in the big blind.

The 1053 flop checked through to the 8 on the turn. Reixach took the lead for 115,000 and Diaz called.

The 9 river saw Reixach place a small bet of 100,000. Diaz didn't take long to raise to 500,000, sending Reixach into the tank.

Reixach checked to see how many time banks he had left, and upon realizing his stock was running low, he quickly made the call in his final seconds. Diaz showed AK for ace high, while Reixach claimed the pot having called with A8, for a pair of eights.

Nível 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Selahaddin Bedir raised to 125,000 from the hijack, but Dmitrii Nazarov three-bet to 300,000 on the button.

Bedir called, then checked on the flop 9Q10. Nazarov checked back, and both players checked again on the turn Q.

However, on the river 9, Bedir bet 150,000. Nazarov chose to raise to 400,000 with 55. Bedir quickly called with A10, and won this hand with the two pair on board and his ace-kicker.

“Nuts” for Pavlov to Take a Massive Pot

Ilia Pavlov
Ilia Pavlov

Ilia Pavlov opened to 160,000 from the hijack and then Sergi Reixach in the small blind three-bet to 560,000.

Pavlov called to see the flop 32K, where Reixach bet 250,000. Pavlov raised to 1,000,000. Reixach counted his stack and called.

On the turn 6, Pavlov bet a modest 500,000 and Reixach check-called.

The 8 landed on the river and Reixach checked before Pavlov moved all in.

"I'm going to use those time banks," Reixach said, spreading his time bank cards in front of him. He went into the tank for one minute and eventually called with K6 for two pair.

"Nuts," said Pavlov, revealing A8 for the best possible flush and best possible hand. He became the first player in the tournament to accumulate over 7,000,000 chips.
