The action continues this evening at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus with Day 1b of the $1,100 Eureka Main Event beginning at 7 p.m. local time at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa. This is the second of four starting flights, with two more taking place tomorrow, October 13th, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time.
Players begin with 30,000 chips and blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Levels will be 30 minutes in length with 15-minute breaks after Levels 4, 7 and 10. One reentry is permitted for each Day 1 flight and each one will play until only 15% of the field remains, at which point all remaining players will advance to Day 2 and will be guaranteed at least a min-cash. Late registration will be available until the start of Level 10 (approximately 12:30 a.m. local time). Prize pool information will be available at the start of Day 2.

Kevin O'Donnell opened to 300 from the cutoff and received a call from Konstantin Voronin on the button. Nihat Karyagdi three-bet to 1,700 and O'Donnell put in a four-bet to 5,600. Both Veronin and Karyagdi made the call.
The flop came K♠8♥5♠ and action checked around to Voronin, who bet 7,300 in position. Karyagdi got out of the way and O'Donnell raised to 21,000, forcing a fold from Voronin.

Olga Iermolcheva opened to 300 from the cutoff and received a call from Alexander Ivanov in the small blind.
The flop came 10♣6♥9♣ and Ivanov check-called a 500 continuation bet from Iermolcheva.
On the 8♠ turn Ivanov lead out with a bet of 1,100, which was called by Iermolcheva.
Ivanov fired again on the 9♥ river for 2,700 and this time it was enough to force a fold from Iermolcheva.

Both players checked the 10♦10♠8♣ flop leading to the A♣ turn. Moreau bet 1,000 and Nicolaou made the call.

With players heads up on a board reading 3♣7♥K♥10♥ and a sizable pot already brewing, Nihat Karyagdi checked and Khatanbaataqr Khandsuren bet 3,500. Karyagdi moved all in for approximately 30,000 and Khandsuren called, covering his opponent just slightly.

Both players had caught a big piece of the board, with Khandsuren having flopped a set while Karyagdi had turned the nut-flush. The board failed to pair on the J♣ river and Karyagdi secured a full early double up while Khandsuren was left with just over ten big blinds.
