Carl Shaw limped in with Q♥J♥ before Simon Wiciak raised to 1,500,000 in the big blind holding A♠K♣. Shaw called to see the 8♦2♣3♦ flop.

Wiciak then bet 800,000 and Shaw came back with a raise to 3,400,000 with queen-high. Wiciak called with ace-high and both players then slowed down and checked the 6♦ turn.

The river came the 7♥ and Shaw burned through a time bank and asked for a count of Wiciak's stack before checking again. Wiciak quickly checked back and took the big pot.

Carl Shaw opened to 600,000 under the gun with 6♠6♦ and was called by Simon Wiciak on the button with 9♠9♥. Joao Sydenstricker, in the small blind, then three-bet to 2,800,000 holding A♦J♠ and Shaw got out of the way.

Wiciak used a time bank before he called to see the K♣3♦3♥. Sydenstricker quickly fired out 1,250,000 and Wiciak shrugged and folded his nines.

All three players checked the 6♣3♠6♥ flop as the 5♦ fell on the turn. Wiciak then checked again and Sydenstricker bet 800,000 with Q♦J♦ for just queen-high.

Plante folded his king-high, while Wiciak also gave up K♦10♦ as Sydenstricker took the pot, much to the delight of his rail which now includes fifth-place finisher Andre Akkari.
