The pot stood at approximately 24,000 with two players looking at a board that read J♦10♠10♥.
Both Thibault Reverdito, in the big blind, and the player under the gun checked the action to Ricardo De Andrade in the cutoff. De Andrade bet out 6,000 and only Reverdito called.
The 3♠ peeled on the turn and Reverdito checked and then folded to a bet of 31,000 from De Andrade.
Anthony Michel Cruz has pulled the first top tier bounty prize of the day. Cruz is now out of the tournament, but he won't go home empty handed after picking out the €50,000 prize.
The €100,000 and €200,000 prizes are still out there, along with three more €50,000 prizes.
Nicolas Yunis raised in the hijack to 10,000, Ibrahim Senoussi three-bet to 28,000 and Yunis responded with a four-bet jam for approximately 170,000. Senoussi snap-called.
Nicolas Yunis: 3♥3♣
Ibrahim Senoussi: K♣K♠
The board ran out 9♥4♠5♣5♥Q♠. Yunis was eliminated just a handful of players from the money.
Cristiano Ferreira was all in preflop against Ravi Sheth, who had him well covered. Players turned their cards.
Cristiano Ferreira: A♣K♥
Ravi Sheth: 10♦10♣
The board ran out 3♣Q♥7♣5♣3♥. Ferreira couldn't find any help on the board and so Sheth held with his pocket queens. He stacked up to over 500,000 and Ferreira was eliminated from the tournament close to the bubble.
George-Mircea Tomescu raised under the gun to 11,000, Ibrahim Senoussi called on the button, as did David Miscikowski in the big blind.
The action checked to Tomescu who bet out 11,000 on a flop of Q♦J♣5♥. Both players called.
The 10♦ turn checked through to the 6♣ on the river. The action again checked to Tomescu, who bet out 35,000, Senoussi called and Miscikowski folded. Tomescu showed A♣A♠, while Senoussi held the winner with J♥6♥ for two pair.
Action was hand for hand with 201 players remaining and 199 paid. There were four all-ins across the room and only one resulted in a double up. The other three were bustouts. Here's how the action went down on the bubble.
Hand 1:
Javey Timmer raised to 10,000 from under the gun and Ryhor Karapanau moved nearly all in from the button, leaving just 1,000 chips behind. Vasyl Pidhrusnyi reraised to 85,000 from the big blind, leaving just 20,000 behind. The original raiser, Timmer, then pushed all in over the top. Karapanau called and Pidhrusnyi stalled for a long time before making the call.
Three players flipped their cards. Karapanau had the shortest stack and Pidhrusnyi was also at risk to Timmer.
The board ran out 7♠8♥4♦3♦7♦. Pidhrusnyi held with his pocket kings to win the pot and triple up. Timmer lost a chunk of chips and Karapanau was eliminated on the bubble.
Hand 2:
After a preflop raising war, Neel Murthy, on the button, found himself all in and at risk for his remaining 332,000 against Lukas Rose, who was under the gun.
Neel Murthy: K♣K♠
Lukas Rose: A♦K♥
The board ran out A♣9♦4♠7♠5♠. Murthy's pocket kings were cracked, propelling Rose over the 800,000 chip mark. Murthy was the second player to bust on the bubble.
Hand 3:
Action was on the river on a board of 10♠2♠J♣J♠3♦. Sylwester Fortuna was all in against Wladimir Stepanian, who had him covered. When the time came, players flipped over their cards.
Fortuna showed Q♣10♣ for a pair of tens. Stepanian showed Q♥J♥ for trip jacks to win the pot. Fortuna was the third and final player to bust on the bubble.
All three bubble bustouts, Karapanau, Murthy, and Fortuna, will split the 199th place prize money, each taking €997.
With the bubble in the rearview, play has returned to normal pace.
