Mikschik Busts Eventually as Trofimov and Jorstad Chip Up

In a battle big blind versus under the gun, table big stack Dragos Trofimov bet the river for 11,200. Peter Mikschik had 11,600 behind and called to muck when Trofimov tabled the for two pair.

Andrey Andreev and Michael Rudolph then limped and Espen Jorstad raised to 2,100 on the button. Mikschik was forced all-in from the big blind and Andreev as well as Rudolph called. Trofimov then min-raised the button and Mikschik called with very few chips behind, as did Jules Hamidou in the big blind. The flop was check-called or 500 by Hamidou as the turn was checked. Hamidou wanted to bet 2,000 on the river but made it 6,000 to which Trofimov called with a single chip.

Hamidou mucked to forfeit the pot and then admitted his mishap while Trofimov won the pot without showdown.

Last but not least, Mikschik got it in with a king and Lorenzo Lavis turned an unbeatable flush with the to knock out the German.
