The 2022 PokerStars and Barcelona©Casino European Poker Tour has arrived at its mid-way point and continues with the second flight of the €2,200 Estrellas Poker Tour High Roller, which is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. local time.
The two-day High Roller event is scheduled to be a big one, especially after the €1,100 ESPT Main Event drew a record-breaking 6,313 entrants, making it the largest live event in PokerStars history. That event is currently down to just three players, with Rick van Bruggen holding a commanding lead over Jack Sinclair and Simon Bouaksa.
Just like the first flight, the ESPT High Roller will begin with blinds of 100/200/200 as players get a starting stack of 30,000 chips. However, instead of 40-minute levels, the second flight will use a hyper-turbo 20-minute level format. Players will receive a 15-minute break after every six levels and late registration closes at the end of Level 10. Players will be able to buy back in as often as they would like until that time.
Approximately 15% of the field will get paid, with the winner receiving the trophy, the glory, and a beautiful payday. The first flight has seen nearly 1,400 entries at the time of publication, with that flight currently at the beginning of Level 9.
