Sam Greenwood

Pablo Brito Silva raised to 24,000 from the cutoff before Sam Greenwood three-bet to 65,000 on the button. Brito Silva used a time bank before announcing he was all in, and Greenwood snap-called for another 400,000.

Sam Greenwood: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Pablo Brito Silva: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Greenwood was a big favorite to double up into the tournament chip lead until the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop gave Brito Silva a pair of aces.

Greenwood was already standing up from his seat as the board ran out {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, giving Brito Silva a full house, and made a quick walk to the exit.

The remaining nine players are now redrawing for seats at the final table.

Greenwood Puts Badziakouski To The Test

Nível 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Mikita Badziakouski opened from under the gun to 12,000 and both Sam Greenwood and Nick Petrangelo made the call from the blinds.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Greenwood and Petrangelo checked to Badziakouski who continued for 9,000. Greenwood decided on a check-raise to 30,000 and only Badziakouski came along.

On the {a-Spades} turn Greenwood took a moment before betting 35,000 and again Badziakouski called.

The {6-Spades} completed the board and Greenwood slid a stack of blue chips forward, covering the 70,000 stack of Badziakouski who went deep in the tank. After several minutes of thought, Badziakouski let his hand go and the chips were sent to the Canadian.
