Down to the last 14,000, Preben Stokkan was all-in and at risk and dominated by fellow short stack Junya Kubo, who had 2,000 chips more.

Stokkan gained a lot of equity with the 
flop to then improve on the 
turn. Kubo needed an ace or six to chop, or an eight to score the final blow. However, the 
river was a blank and Stokkan doubled. Kubo was unable to spin up the final big blind and busted the next hand.
