Dalibor Hill opened from middle position. Action folded to the very short stacked Daniele Sunzeri in the big blind who got all the chips in the middle as they awaited the tournament director's sign to run the hand. Two other short stacks survived the same hand while they awaited.

This final starting flight was the quickest of the four, owing to the 20-minute blind structure that saw the average stack at less than 20 big blinds at the end of the night. Day 2 will take place on Saturday at 12 p.m., with the 603 surviving players combining, all of them already in the money.
Bagging the most chips of this final flight was Antoine Labat with 957,000. Several of his countrymen also had excellent days with Benoit Huet (614,000), Vincent Guillon (515,000), and Gilles Silbernagel (496,000) all joining him on the leaderboard.
