Another day of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague has come to a close, with another huge field turning out for Day 1c of the €1,100 Eureka Main Event inside the fantastic Hilton Prague.
Day 1c and Day 1d saw 1,844 and 780 entries respectively to bring the overall total to 4,018, smashing the previous record of 3,155 set back in the Spring.
From Day 1c, 277 players advanced to Day 2, which takes place on Saturday, December 10 at 12 p.m. CET. Another 117 players from Day 1d also advanced to bring the Day 2 field to 603.
Those players have all locked up the min-cash of the astonishing €3,856,320 prize pool, with payouts to be determined as Day 2 gets underway.

Bart Fergiatakis Bags Best in Day 1c
From the 277 survivors, The Netherlands may have bowed out of the World Cup earlier on but Dutchman Bart Fergiatakis had a reason to celebrate as he bagged best in Day 1c and will return to the felt with a 908,000 chip stack. Fabian Wolf and Jorge Garcia also had a fruitful day at the poker table and will start Day 2 with 767,000 and 723,000 respectively.
Other notable names to make it through to the next stage include Jessica Teusl (122,000), EPT London Main Event runner-up Jack Sinclair (186,000) and Juan Pardo (107,000).
While the likes of Ana Marquez, Bruno Fitoussi, Martin Kabrhel and PokerStars Ambassador Benjamin Spragg could not navigate over the first hurdle.
Day 1c took around thirteen and a half hours to wrap up and proceedings came to an end when Vojtech Ruzicka was eliminated on the money bubble by the aforementioned Wolf. Ruzicka committed his short stack with pocket tens but ran into the pocket jacks held by Wolf. He found no help on the runout which brought play to a close.
