Arnold Oosterbaan made his way back to the tournament area with a fresh stack of 100,000 chips at the cost of another €25,000, bringing the field to nine entries and five players remaining.
After just re-taking his seat at the lone table in play, Arnold Oosterbaan found himself deep in another big pot with Alex Kulev. A completed board of was spread across the table with around 70,000 in the middle already.
Oosterbaan checked from the big blind and Alex Kulev moved out a bet of 175,000. Oosterbaan went deep into the tank for at least two minutes, using four of his time banks. He eventually folded and Kulev raked in the pot.

On the next hand, Mateos raised to 9,000 from the small blind and Philip Sternheimer three-bet to 28,500 in the big blind. Mateos called and the flop of was spread across the felt.
Mateos checked to Sternheimer who bet 18,000 and Mateos called. The turn was the and Mateos checked again. Sternheimer put together a bet of 40,000 and Mateos snap-folded.
Alex Kulev opened to 5,500 from the hijack and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 16,000 from the next seat. Pascal Lefrancois then four-bet jammed a stack of 110,000 from the big blind and Kulev re-shoved with the chip lead. Mateos snap-called with Lefrancois covered.

"That's good for you!" Kulev told Lefrancois, who was behind but the only player with immediate outs.
But he couldn't hit one of those two outs as the board ran out to mark the Canadian's elimination as Mateos and Kulev split the pot.
"You had him covered?" Kulev cheekily asked Mateos as he tried, to no avail, to get a bigger share.

Following that, Adrian Mateos opened to 5,500 and was called by Philip Sternheimer on the button and Kulev in the big blind. The flop came and the action checked to Sternheimer who bet 6,000. Kulev called and Mateos stepped aside.
