Guy Leathley raised to 240,000 from the button and Igor D'Ursel took some time before opting to three-bet to just over 2,000,000 from the small blind. Martin Jacobson was sitting in the big blind and glanced at his cards. After a few seconds, he opted to shove for what he thought was around 2,300,000.
Leathley folded quite quickly but D'Ursel looked over to the other table. Jacobson thought it was a call and flipped over his cards but then realized that D'Ursel hadn't called yet. He quickly grabbed them back and flipped them back over before covering them with his hand. D'Ursel then looked back at the table while the rest looked on with amazement on their faces as they had seen what Jacobson held.
The hand was still live and D'Ursel then figured out that Jacobson had fewer chips. He looked over to the other table again before he decided to make the call with the slightly bigger stack.
Martin Jacobson:
Igor D'Ursel:
The board ran out for Jacobson to stay ahead and double up for the 2,440,000 he actually had behind with the black pocket rockets and leave D'Ursel short.
Vladas Tamasauskas raised from middle position to 800,000, representing almost all of his remaining chips. Conor Beresford three-bet more than enough to put Tamasauskas all in, and the blinds quickly got out of the way.
Vladas Tamasauskas:
Conor Beresford:
Tamasauskas trailed the entire time, as the only improved Beresford's hand. Tamasauskas wished the table good luck as his run came to an end in 10th place.
Danny Pyke raised on the button to 255,000, with Conor Beresford calling from the big blind. Both players checked the flop, and Beresford followed with another check on the turn.
Pyke continued for 260,000 and Beresford check-raised to 775,000. Pyke took some time before making the call, with both players seeing the river.
Beresford checked again, and Pyke moved all. Beresford called and revealed for two pair, while Pyke mucked his cards and the dealer revealed for a missed flush draw. Pyke's run ends in 8th place.
Conor Beresford raised to 420,000 from the small blind. Guy Leathley three-bet to 1,150,000 from the big blind. Beresford four-bet jammed and Leathley snap-called.
Guy Leathley:
Conor Beresford:
The flop came . The turn was the to make Leathley stand up and the river was the to end the night for Leathley and for the tournament as the remaining six players started to bag their chips after the hand.
Day 3 of the £1,100 UKIPT Main Event began with one overwhelming chip leader and finished with another, as Conor Beresford leads the final six players with more than half of the chips in play at the PokerStars European Poker Tour London at the Hilton Park Lane hotel.
Beresford entered the day sixth in chips but ended in a similar fashion as Day 2 chip leader Julien Sitbon. The Frenchman began play with 170 big blinds and more than double the chips of his closest competitor, however, he would eventually bow out in 11th place. Beresford will enter the final day with 171 big blinds, leaving a massive gap to Jon Kyte in second with 44 big blinds.

Beresford’s ascent up the leaderboard began with a knockout of Fabrice Bigot to take the field down to the final three tables. From there, Beresford continued to collect chips and opened a sizeable lead after the first four levels. In all, Beresford scored eight knockouts of the 22 eliminations on the day for a commanding lead over the rest of the final table.
The Englishman will be looking to build on his results from EPT Prague, where he earned a third-place finish in the €10,000 EPT High Roller and fifth place in the €2,000 NLH Hyper Turbo Knockout events. Beresford and Kyte will be joined on the final day by Martin Jacobson, Martin Caride, Vincenzo Schiavottiello and Olivier Arnault.
Day 3 Action
The action was fast-paced for much of the day, as a third of the original field of 28 was eliminated before the first break. It did not take long to reach the unofficial final table, as Beresford knocked out Day 1b chip leaderVladas Tamasauskas.
Igor D'Ursel ran into kings to finish ninth, followed by Danny Pyke in seventh and Guy Leathley closing out the day with his sixth-place finish.
The biggest move came from Jacobson, who began play last in chips out of the remaining 28 competitors but will start Day 4 in third position. Jacobson also played one of the more memorable hands of the day, when he doubled up despite accidentally revealing pocket aces.
The final table action resumes Saturday at 12 p.m. local time, where the newest UKIPT Main Event champion will be crowned and take home the top prize of £232,300.
