A big pot emerged between French prodigy Pierre Calamusa and 2019 World Series of Poker Europe bracelet winner Tomas Fara, and they had some 18,000 in the middle to the river of a board .

Howden Loses Coin Flip To Bust

Tsanos Finds Lucky Side of the Coin

An all in and call were overheard as Vasileios Tsanos and another player had gotten all of their chips into the middle before the flop from the hijack and button, respectively.

The flop came to give the player on the button top pair, top kicker and put him firmly ahead with two cards to come. Unfortunately for him, the turn spelled disaster, giving Tsanos a set of tens and leaving him with four outs to broadway to stay alive. None of the four would come on the river and the two roughly counted their stacks before it was determined that Tsanos covered, earning him the knockout in addition to the pot as he now finds himself with just under two starting stacks.
