All of the chips got in the middle before the flop via several bets, with Pieter Aerts being the one to go all in from the cutoff against Simon Mattsson, who called
Pieter Aerts:
Simon Mattsson:
The two were in a classic coin flip situation for stacks and Aerts was the one who was behind to start. The flop left him with just two chances at hitting one of his six outs, but neither the turn nor the river gave him what he needed. Mattsson's stack was counted to be 240,000 and Aerts' was totaled at 239,000. As such, Aerts found himself out of chips as Mattsson won the huge coin flip to vault him just shy of a half-million.

Krasimir Yankov:

However, the on the river improved his opponent to two pair and Banicevic high-tailed it out of the tournament area in apparent frustration.

Action folded around to Yunye Lu in the small blind and he raised to 17,500, putting action onto Tomasz Cybulski in the big blind. The two players were in the one- and eight-seats on either side of the dealer and Cybulski asked how much Lu had. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding that led to Cybulski standing up to look over and confirm how much Lu had to start the hand. The dealer then announced that Cybulski had five seconds left on his shot clock.
"Call," said Cybulski and the dealer asked to confirm, which he did. The flop came and Lu made a continuation-bet of 15,000. Cybulski called.
The turn was and Lu slowed down, tapping the felt to check. Cybulski threw out a bet of 22,000 and Lu folded, resulting in Cybulski's turn bet taking down the pot after floating the flop by calling Lu's continuation-bet.
