Yunye Lu was down to 38,000 after finding a double early in the day and proceeded to get all of his chips into the middle from middle position against Gaelle Baumann, who was under the gun.

Lu was out in front and in good shape for the double as the flop came . However, Baumann then found herself with four outs that Lu needed to fade to stay alive. Fortunately for him, the turn and river were clean as can be and he scored his second double of the afternoon.
One player opened to 6,000 and got calls from Michael Soyza in the cutoff and Omar Lakhdari in the small blind. Gianluca Speranza was in the big blind and three-bet to 32,500. The initial raiser and Soyza both folded and Lakhdari four-bet all in. Speranza called.

Speranza was all in for 138,000 and flopped an ace on the flop to take the lead. The turn had Lakhdari calling for a deuce but the river secured the double for Speranza.
Tom-Aksell Bedell was in the big blind and in the process of calling a raise from George Wolff in the small blind to take action heads up to a flop of . Wolff made a continuation-bet of 5,000 and Bedell called.
The turn was and Wolff checked. Bedell fired out 17,000 and Wolff thought for a couple of moments before calling.
The river fell and Wolff checked again. Bedell thought for about 45 seconds, needing to use a time bank card to do so, and then announced a bet of 42,000. Wolff immediately called.
Bedell showed for a busted gutshot straight draw and Wolff quickly tabled in the same confident manner in which he called just moments before, winning the pot with queens and tens to take him over 200,000.
Parker Talbot opened to 5,500 in middle position and Viktor Ustimov three-bet to 14,000 on his left. The action folded back to Talbot who made the call. the flop came and Talbot check-called a bet of 12,500 from Ustimov.
The turn was the and both players checked to the on the river. Two more checks and Talbot turned over . Ustimov tabled for a better kicker to scoop the pot.

There was over 50,000 in the middle on the river with a board of and Simon Pedersen had check-raised all in from early position over a bet of 18,000 from Simon Mattsson, who was on his direct left in middle position. The raise was large enough to put Mattsson to a decision for the 75,000 that still remained in front of him.
Mattsson was deep in the tank and time on the clock was running out. The dealer leaned across the table and fanned out Mattsson's extension cards in order to see how many he had as he continued to think about his decision. A minute later, the dealer reached out again to further fan out the cards and count exactly how many he had.
Mattsson eventually folded with time running out and the pot was sent to Pedersen. Pedersen sent the dealer one of his own extension cards, and the dealer collected it before reaching over and exhausting Mattsson's supply of the cards along with it, leaving him dry on time extensions early in Day 2.
