Martini Clashes With Schemion
At one of the corner tables in the Salle des Etoiles, two of the biggest names in the field clashed in a three-bet pot. Ole Schemion, who already claimed five trophies at previous EPT's in Monte Carlo, raised it up from middle position and PSPC runner-up Julien Martini three-bet him from the cutoff. Schemion came along with the call.
The flop came down and Schemion checked. Martini bet 36,000, Schemion check-raised to 90,000, and Martini called. The turn brought the and Schemion shoved all in with superior stack, more than enough to put Martini to the test for his remaining 200,000.
