Czuczor Doubles Through Addamo

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Marton Czuczor
Marton Czuczor

Michael Addamo opened from under the gun and Marton Czuczor defended his big blind.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Czuczor check-called 55,000. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Czuczor check-called 190,000.

The river was the {3-Hearts}. Czuczor checked for the third time and Addamo moved all in. Czuczor snap-called for his last 500,000.

Addamo showed {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a queen-high bluff, but Czuczor had picked it off with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a set.

Pollak Doubles Through Aido

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Benjamin Pollak
Benjamin Pollak

The action folded to Sergio Aido in the small blind who stuck in a raise of over 500,000. Benjamin Pollak was sitting with 470,000 in the big blind and started to peel one card at a time.

"Yes, I call." Pollak whipped over his cards and was in a great position with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} against Aido's {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Pollak remained in the lead with his pocket jacks. The {5-Spades} and {5-Hearts} runout changed nothing and Pollak scored a double up to get back into contention.

Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo opened to 50,000 and Koray Aldemir three-bet to 155,000. Addamo called and the pair both checked the {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. Addamo bet 185,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn and Aldemir quickly folded.

That moved Addamo above a million chips, and on the very next hand he opened to 50,000 again and this time Laurynas Levinskas defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Levinskas check-called 90,000.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Levinskas checked again. This time Addamo bet 210,000 and Addamo folded.

Daniel Dvoress Eliminated in 8th Place (€104,610)

Daniel Dvoress eliminated
Daniel Dvoress eliminated

Daniel Dvoress moved all in for 215,000 from the hijack. Laslo Bujtas called in the small blind.

Daniel Dvoress: {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Laszlo Bujtas: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} giving Dvoress a one-way straight draw, as any jack would give Bujtas a full house. Luckily for the Canadian, the turn was the {6-Spades} completing the "good" end of the straight.

However, the river was the {j-Hearts} giving Bujtas a full house and eliminating Dvoress in brutal fashion.

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

The action folded to Joao Vieira on the button who was on the short stack to begin the day. Vieira shoved all in for 210,000 only to have Sergio Aido re-shove all in from the small blind.

Sergio Aido: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Joao Vieira: {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Aido was in a dominating position and the flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} gave him an even stronger lead. The {9-Diamonds} hit the turn and the {k-Clubs} landed on the river to send Vieira to the rail in ninth place.
