€100,000 EPT Super High Roller
Dia 3 Começado
Heading into the last day of competition for the €100,000 Super High Roller, there are just nine players remaining from a field of 52. It is one of the most prestigious events on the 2019 PokerStars and Monte Carlo®Casino EPT schedule and it comes with a payday of over €1.5 million.
Leading the charge is Daniel Dvoress who built up a lead heading into the final table and then put it on cruise control. Dvoress will return to the felt with 3,865,000 chips, nearly double that of second place Sam Greenwood (1,960,000). The final table was reached with over two hours left to play, but no more eliminations occurred in that time frame.
The short stacks continued to double up time and time again as the night wore on and eventually, the players called it quits after a 13 hour day. That will result in the tournament average sitting at just 24 big blinds when the action resumes and could make for some exciting play heading into the bubble.

The blinds will resume at 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 big blind ante and will continue to be 60 minutes in length. There will be a 20-minute break after every two levels with no dinner break scheduled at this time.
Of the nine returning players, only seven will leave with some cash in their pocket. A min-cash will be worth €264,860 while the winner will be taking home €1,589,190. For Sam Greenwood, he needs to finish sixth or better in order to make it a profitable day, seeing as he fired three bullets. As the defending champion, he will be looking to repeat history from last year. And for Dvoress, he is looking to record his first seven-figure score with a top-two finish.
