The Duarte father and son duo are a well-known sight on the bigger poker tours around the world and both made a splash in this event. Yesterday, Luis Duarte Ferreira (the senior) got eliminated from the Main Event in 82nd place, worth €17,160.
The younger Duarte went on to Day 4 but just succumbed in 26th place, losing a race to Jiayuan Liu but keeping the bragging rights within the family.
From the hijack, Duarte shoved all in for 400,000 and Liu looked him up from the small blind.
