While Kalidou Sow has lost almost half of his stack early on, Mikhail Soltanov one table over managed to almost double after taking on French online qualifier Samuel Kiourktchian in a big pot. The turn showed 
and Soltanov bet 3,300 out of the big blind. Kiourktchian raised to 7,000 and Soltanov called.
On the 
turn, Soltanov once more bet, making it 3,000 to go, and Kiourktchian raised it up to 7,000. Soltanov wasted little time before moving all in and that forced an instant fold.
