Cristian Egues raised from the hijack and called the three-bet by Dong Zhao in the small blind. On the flop, Zhao bet 22,000 and folded to the min-raise by Egues to 44,000.

In the hijack, Zhao moved all in for his last 2,000 and Michael Kane filled up in the small blind, Egues checked in the big blind. The remaining two players checked the flop. On the turn, Egues bet and Kane quickly folded.

The river was a mere formality and Zhao was eliminated.
The rich gets richer. Theo Jorgensen opened for 12,000 only to find Alexander Lakhov shove all in right behind him for around 130,000. The Dane didn't mind too much, however, and quickly called with , and they were way out in front against the of Lakhov.
The board ran out , and Jorgensen is now closing in on 700,000.
Stefan Jedlicka raised to 12,500 from the button and Theo Jorgensen three-bet to 36,000 in the big blind. Jedlicka called and the flop came . Both players checked and Jorgensen then fired a delayed continuation bet on the turn worth 25,000. Jedlicka folded and the rich got richer.
Stephen Chidwick raised to 12,000 from the button and Alexander Ivarsson three-bet to 37,000 from the small blind. Chidwick moved all in and Ivarsson called.

The flop came and Armando Collado said "no seven", the turn and the river were blanks. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau in the big blind chimed in "big cooler" and it was indeed the first big pot Ivarsson lost the entire day.
In a pot of 50,000, Liviu Ignat of Romania bet 34,000 into Piotr Franczak on a board of . Francak tanked a bit before committing the chips, and together they saw the peel off on the river.
Once again Ignat took the lead, but this time the price was 85,000. Franczak considered his options, but couldn't find a way out of it and threw in a single yellow chip indicating the call.
Ignat revealed a king-high flush with , and that was plenty to seal the deal and drag the heavy pot.
Franczak has for a long time been one of the biggest stacks in the room, but his pyramid of chips has had quite a few towers chopped off this past level.
Gzregorz Grochulski raised from under the gun and Farid Jattin called in the small blind. On the flop, Jattin check-called a continuation bet and checked again the turn. Grochulski shoved for around 60,000 and Jattin snap-called.

The ace on the turn was the worst possible card, as Grochulski had found top pair only to find himself drawing dead. The on the river was already a formality and play was halted after as the last 24 participants were reached.
