Vogelsang Doubles Up Thorel

Nível 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Christoph Vogelsang raised from the button to 10,000 and Jean-Noel Thorel moved all-in from the big blind for his remaining 22 big blinds. Vogelsang thought for a few minutes before making the call.

Thorel: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Vogelsang: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Thorel was ahead, and although the {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} helped Vogelsang, and the {2-Hearts} opened the door to potential chops, but the {k-Clubs} ensured Thorel doubles up as we enter the last two levels of the evening

Fast and Franczak Bust

Nível 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Within a matter of a few minutes, Dietrich Fast and Piotr Franczak have been eliminated on the same table. Fast three-bet to 27,000 against an open-raise by Nick Petrangelo and the American called. On the flop {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} Petrangelo checked from under the gun and Fast continued for 36,000 in the cutoff.

Petrangelo made the call and did so again for 78,000 on the {2-Spades} turn. The American then checked the {5-Hearts} river and Fast emptied the clip with a shove for 195,000. Petrangelo made the call and his {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} scooped the big pot.

Franczak got his stack of around 90,000 chips in with {A-}{10-} whereas Connor Drinan had the dominating {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and that was it for Franczak.

Sam Greenwood

On the four-way flop {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Sam Greenwood, Mustapha Kanit and Kim Wittendorff in the small blind all invested 16,000 chips and headed to the {6-Spades} turn. Wittendorff checked, Greenwood bet 60,000 and both his opponents called before the {9-Clubs} fell on the river.

Wittendorff checked once again and Greenwood emptied the clip with a shove for 128,000. Kanit folded rather quickly, but Wittendorff checked his stack carefully and then made the call with {A-Spades}{3-Spades}. Greenwood turned over his {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and exited the tournament area.
