Seat 9: Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz, 23, Germany, 4,970,000
Fourth in chips for today’s unofficial final table is Julian Stuer's fellow countryman Fedor Holz, whose incredible summer run just doesn't stop. In the last six months he has won almost $11 million. After his outstanding streak of high roller results in Las Vegas, the 23-year-old arrived in Spain and continues to crush on the European soil as well. The German superstar and current Global Poker Index world #1 had to fire a re-entry bullet for the Super High Roller but things went his way on Day 1 when Holz picked off Niall Farrell's huge river bluff to navigate to a 1,150,000-chip stack.
Two years ago, Holz's poker career got a huge boost when he won the PokerStars WCOOP Main Event for $1,300,000. He was soon to be recognised as one of the most successful players in the world. After becoming the WCOOP World Champion, he then made the transition to the highest buy-in live events. He's amassed about $18 million in live earnings since then and is now leading the stacked German all-time money list (he's currently ninth worldwide). Holz has been on an incredible heater this summer earning more than $10 million in the last three months. After taking down the $111k One Drop High Roller for his first WSOP bracelet, he announced he was retiring from playing full time but will continue traveling to compete at the biggest festivals around the world - including EPT13 Barcelona, where he's aiming to seize his first EPT Super High Roller title.
