Urbanovich Hits Perfect Turn

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #20: Kurganov in the hijack with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} opened for 115,000. Urbanovich in the big blind called with {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Urbanovich checked. Kurganov bet 150,000 and Urbanovich, with the over card, gutshot and back door flush draw, made the call.

590,000 in the pot and the {9-Spades} hit the turn; the best card Urbanovich could hit. The Polish player checked again, Kurganov checked behind with his top pair and top kicker. The {9-Diamonds} on the river made both players check again and Urbanovich took it down.

Hand #21: Altergott opened the hijack for 115,000 with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Thomas Muehloecker in the big blind flatted with {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The flop came {J-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and neither player hit. 290,000 in the pot and Muehloecker checked. Altergott bet 105,000 and Muehloecker instantly folded.

Seidel Takes a Couple

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #22: Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 105,000 with {9-Spades}{4-Spades} on the button, and Erik Seidel defended his big blind with an unknown hand. Seidel checked the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, and Urbanovich bet 105,000 again and got a call. On the {8-Spades} turn, Seidel checked and called 235,000. Check-check on the {k-Clubs}, and Seidel's {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} took it down.

Hand #23: Igor Kurganov took it down without a fight in the big blind.

Hand #24: With only the {q-Spades} known, Thomas Muehloecker opened in the cutoff to 110,000. Seidel called with unknown holdings on the button, and Igor Kurganov took it down with a three-bet to 365,000.

Hand #25: Seidel opened to 110,000 in the cutoff, and Fedor Holz defended his big blind with {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. He checked the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, calling 125,000 from Seidel. Holz checked and mucked to Seidel's second barrel on a {2-} turn, and Seidel's hole cards were revealed as {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Hand #26: Muehloecker's {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} was good enough for a 110,000 open in middle position, and Dario Sammartino defended his blind with a hand that included the {10-Hearts}. Muehloecker bet 130,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, winning the pot when Sammartino mucked.

Altergott Happy to Check Behind

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #27: Kurganov opened for 115,000 from the hijack with {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Urbanovich in the big blind flatted with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. The flop came {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, giving Kurganov the edge with his gutshot and flush draw. Urbanovich checked, and folded his pair of sixes to Kurganov's 150,000 bet.

Hand #28: Action folded to Sammartino with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. He opened his button to 125,000 took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #29: Again a big pair for Sammartino, this time {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} in the cutoff. The Italian opened for 110,000 and again no action, everyone folded.

Hand #30: Fedor Holz opened {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} eith a raise to 110,000. Sammartino folded {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} next to him. All other players followed Sammartino's example, blinds and antes to Holz.

Hand #31: Action folded to Igor Kurganov in the small blind. The Russian high roller found a real hand with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and raised it up. Altergott called with {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} was good for Altergott, giving him 87% equity to win the hand. Kurganov bet out 140,000 and Altergott flatted in position to see the pot grow to 615,000.

{6-Hearts} on the turn and Kurganov fired another 325,000. Altergott, with now a gutshot on top of his pair and flush draw, called again.

The {7-Clubs} on the river changed nothing. 1,265,000 in the middle and Kurganov checked. Altergott was happy to check behind and took it down.

Phil Ivey and JC Alvarado Weigh In On Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Today is the day. Later tonight, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will square off in what is deemed as the "Fight of the Decade." Some are even calling it the biggest fight in the history of boxing. If you're going by just the purse of the fight, which some anticipate could reach $300 million, then this will indeed be the biggest fight of all time.

Here in Monaco, the PokerNews team is currently covering the biggest event on the European Poker Tour schedule. This season's EPT Grand Final will boast an all-time high of 78 events on the schedule, highlighted by the €100,000 Super High Roller, the €50,000 Super High Roller, the €25,500 High Roller, and the €10,600 Main Event. But even despite all of the massive high-stakes poker action on offer, some players are still very much interested in the Mayweather-Pacquiao duel that will go down in the bright lights of Las Vegas on May 2.

Two of those interested are Phil Ivey and JC Alvarado, both fans of boxing and fight betting. Ivey even founded All-In Entertainment, which is a "boxing and entertainment firm representing sports and media interests, the promotion of worldwide entertainment events and orchestrating boxing events" alongside Jeff Fried and Monta Ellis.

While the two were playing the €100,000 Super High Roller in Monte Carlo, PokerNews' Remko Rinkema caught with both of them to get their views on the spectacle that will take place and who will win, Mayweather or Pacquiao. Check out the two interviews below:
