Marco van Opzeeland started the day with just over 15,000 and for the longest time he wasn't able to make anything happen.
Just now we saw him seated at a different table after his first table got broken. All of the sudden he had 140,000 in front of him.
Van Opzeeland told us he had been grinded down a couple of times just to double back up with the best hand not much later.
But when things really mattered he got lucky. Holding ace-queen he rivered someone with kings. Two queens on the board and Van Opzeeland started his full recovery. Not much later he successfully bluffed Marc-Andre Ladouceur and made some good lay downs to get his stack up to 140,000.
Tobias Peters just called us over to tell a hand which was "pretty sick". We always take these type of hands with a grain of salt, but when Peters explained what happened we had to agree it was pretty sickening.
Peters raised under the gun holding pocket kings and Alexander Moiseev moved all in for 41,000. The player in the small blind folded and the Dutchman called with .
Peters was well ahead against the of Moiseev, but the flop brought giving his opponent one more out to win.
"Seven," Moiseev said and he immediately got what he asked for.
The seven on the turn gave Moiseev quads with the ace kicker and the four of the river did not help Peters.
With one opener already Andrey Elizarov made the call and when it got to Christoph Szedlak in the big blind he raised it to 14,000. The original raiser folded and Elizarov paused and made the call.
The flop was and, first to act, Szedlak continued the aggression with a bet of 17,500. Elizarov mulled it over and clicked it back with a bet of 35,000.
The bet really seemed to puzzle Szedlak and several minutes ticked by. He couldn’t seem to work out exactly what was going on and eventually decided to fold face up. This prompted Elizarov to show his own .
While he was still stacking his chips Elizarov was in the next hand on a flop of when Ben Warrington made a bet of 10,500. Elizarov raised him to 20,500 and when Warrington folded he flipped over .
