Poland's Pietrzak Doubles Through Jorgensen

Nível 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen opened for 2,200 from middle position and was met by an all-in three-bet to 12,300 by Piotr Robert Pietrzak on the button. The blinds both folded and Jorgensen, who didn't have many chips to spare, dropped in a call.

Pietrzak: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Jorgensen: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

It was a classic race, and according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Pietrzak had a 51.42% chance of surviving the hand while Jorgensen would take it down 48.02% of the time.

The {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop was interesting in that it gave Pietrzak a set, making him a 74.44% favorite, but it also delivered Jorgensen a flush draw, which he'd make 25.56% of the time. The {K-Spades} turn was safe for Pietrzak, and his chances increased to 84.09%. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {3-Diamonds}. Jorgensen missed and a happy Pietrzak stacked more than twice as many chips as he committed to the pot.

Meanwhile Pietrzak's countrymen Tomasz Kowalski and Mateusz Zbikowski are siting with 30,000 and 53,000 respectively.
