VIcky Coren opened for 42,000 and Raul Mestre defended from the big blind. The flop was and when Mestre checked Coren continued for 50,000. Mestre made the call.
Mestre then bet out on the turn and Coren laughed saying “I don’t even know what you’re representing. I guess you’ve got to have something.”
Ludovic Riehl had opened from the button and got a call from Giacomo Fundaro in the big blind. Fundaro check called the flop and when the turn came the Fundaro checked raised a bet of 103,000 from Riehl to 217,000.
Fundaro made the call and they saw a river card .
Both players checked and the of Fundaro lost to the baby flush of Riehl.

Stefano Garbarino opened the hand with a raise to 40,000. A couple of positions down it was the Fin Jorma Nuutinen who made a three-bet to 90,000. The other players folded, Garbarino made the call.
The flop came and Garbarino open shoved for over 300,000. Nuutinen snap called and slammed his on the table. Garbarino had and needed a lot of help.

It was season four that the PokerStars European Poker Tour first landed in Sanremo. A guy no one had ever heard of before won it; Jason Mercier. The tournament has attracted a little less players this year, but there's still almost half a million waiting for one of the remaining 19 players.

For the second time in a row Rocco Palumbo shoved allin. Ever losing that big pot to the quads of Andrija Martic he was short and needed a double up. His first shove got through, the second didn't.
He shoved from early position and big blind Stephen Chidwick snap called. Chidwick had jacks and was the favorite over Palumbo's nines. A jack on the flop left Palumbo hoping for runner runner, but it wouldn't be like that. By the time the turn was out, Palumbo was drawing dead.
