Govert Metaal limped from early position and Davidi Kitai decided to put in the T5000 calling chip too. Anatoly Filatov is from Russia and he wasn’t having any of that, raising it up to 20,000. The blinds folded and it was back on Metaal who moved all in.
It looked like Filatov hadn’t seen that one coming and he asked for a count of Metaal’s stack which was 140,000 before folding.
Two players faced off against each other over a flop of .
Ismail Erkenov was first to act and checked, leading Noah Schwartz to bet 36,000. Erkenov made the call and the saw a turn card . Both players checked.
The river was the and Erkenov put out a bet of 45,000. Schwartz gave it a few moments before he folded.
As we approached the far outer table, Higgins mucked his cards. He glanced at them one ore time, and we could see he had just tossed in into the pile of other mucked cards. Meanwhile Mike McDonald had in front of him and was awaiting 109,500 times two to get back. The two of them had gotten their chips in before the flop but the board proved good for McDonald who sucked out hitting an ace on the turn. Higgins in the meantime still has a very playable stack.

Ismail Erkenov opened for 12,000 and Yevgeniy Timoshenko moved all in for 70,500. The blinds got out of the way and Erkenov had a long hard look at the impassive Timoshenko. It looked like a borderline decision but he made the call.
Timoshenko showed him and Erkenov held . Despite Timoshenko being suited it was he who was at risk and had a big sweat on the turn as the board ran out .
Timoshenko survived but only added a small amount to his stack and is still short.
Chenxiang Miao opened for 10,000 and was three-bet by Davidi Kitai to 22,500. The blinds folded and Miao made the call. The scarf went up to cover Kitai’s mouth in his trademark “In a hand.” gesture.
Neither player seemed to be interested in putting any more chips in the pot until they reached a river of a board reading . Miao checked and Kitai did another other trademark, the betting move where he picks up some chips, examines them in his hand and then extends his arm to drop them on the felt.
Miao made the call and Kitai showed him one more trademark, the best hand. . Miao mucked.
Sorel Mizzi has been eliminated at the hands of Jonas Kronwitter a few minutes ago. Well, we're not sure if Sorel Mizzi is actually very miserable, but the title sounded just too good.
According to former table mate Andrew Chen it was Jonas Kronwitter who opened with . Mizzi shoved with pocket queens and Kronwitter made the call.
The board couldn't save Mizzi and the tournament is one big name player shorter. Don't worry though, there's still many left for you to digitally rail.
