Bad Flop for Gruissem

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Michael Bahig Youssef opened for 425 and Philipp Gruissem in the big blind raised him to 1,500. Youssef four-bet him to 2,900. “You won the satty right?” asked Gruissem, but Youssef confirmed nothing.

Gruissem made the call and they saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Gruissem checked as did Youssef. They saw a turn card {8-Hearts} and Youssef bet 3,200 when it was checked to him. Gruissem sighed and said. “I fold.” Turning over his {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. “Nice bluff.”

Yurasov Turns the Screw

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Chane Kampanatsanyakorn opened for 600 in the cutoff and Dmitry Yurasov three-bet him to 2,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Kampanatsanyakorn four bet to 4,500. Yurasov made the call.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} and both players checked to see a turn card {a-Spades}. A 5,800 bet from Yurasov was called by Kampanatsanyakorn and the went to the river where a {6-Diamonds} completed the board.

Yurasov collected some of each denomination of chips and put out his bet. Kampanatsanyakorn asked the bet to be clarified and found it was a hefty 9,300. He mused for a while and said to himself, “You raised ne preflop.” He then tried the fake pump call but there was no reaction from Yurasov.

Eventually he did make the call and mucked when Yurasov turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the turned straight.

Strassmann Mucks by Mistake

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

We missed the pre flop action, but believe it was a three-bet pot. Post flop things weren't getting too interesting as both Fabian Quoss in the small blind and Johannes Strassmann on the button checked it all the way through on {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

With the board displaying a flush, Quoss tabled his {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Johannes Strassmann threw his hand in the muck, and quickly after realized that it would have been a split pot. He reached for his cards, but it was too little too late. His cards would stay in the muck and the pot went to Quoss.

Four to the Flop

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Senh Ung opened for 500 and Paul Newey three-bet him to 1,700. If Newey was trying to get it heads up it didn’t work as first Alexander Timokhin called, Timothy Adams called and when the blind folded, original raiser Ung put in the extra to see a four way flop.

{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} was spread on the felt and it checked to the player with position, Adams, who bet 4,200 and one by one the other players released their cards.

Gruissem Value Bets the River

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Talal Shakerchi in the small blind and Philipp Gruissem in the big blind took a flop of {K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} in what was three-bet pre flop. Shakerchi check-called a 2,500 bet from Gruissem and both players checked the {J-Spades} on the turn. The {Q-Spades} on the river made Shakerchi check again. Gruissem bet 6,000 and Shakerchi made the call. Gruissem tabled {K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Shakerchi mucked.

The Money Can Wait

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Four days ago Daniel Colman won €1,539,900 for winning the Super High Roller. He is currently playing in today’s High Roller and between hands one of the tournament staff approached him to remind him that he hadn’t yet picked up his winnings for the event. “You remember?”

Colman hadn’t forgotten but he assured him he’d get round to it at some point. Right now he’s focused on winning another event.

Schemion Loses

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

It's a shocker, but Ole Schemion can actually lose pots. We witnessed it just now, two times in a row even.

In the first hand we saw him raise Paul Newey's 5,500 bet to 13,800 on {2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Newey thought about it for some time, and then called. Schemion confidently turned over {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, but that wasn't the winner as Newey had {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the higher flush.

The next hand he opened for 600 under the gun plus one and two players called, one of them right next to Schemion and the player in the big blind. The big blind and Schemion checked on {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} but the third player bet out 1,200. The big blind checked, Schemion called.

Schemion check-called another 2,800 on the {7-Clubs}-turn, and 3,600 on the {7-Hearts}-river. Schemion couldn't beat {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and mucked.
