Zachary Clark Finds a Double Up

There was an open from early position to 1,600 before Yann Brosolo three-bet to 3,900 in middle position. Zachary Clark was on the button and he moved all-in for 22,500. The player in early position folded but Brosolo made the call.

Clark{A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}
Brosolo{A-Spades} {Q-Clubs}

Board: {8-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {10-Spades}

Brosolo got to his feet and walked away from the table, but he was soon hauled back with 700 chips remaining in his fragile looking stack. Clark was up to 52,000.

Rousso Picking Up Steam

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso started the day with just 17,000 in chips, but she's already run it up to nearly 70,000. She's also done this while being at one of the tougher table draws in the room as she's seated between George Lind on her right, Sam Trickett on her left, then Nacho Barbero and Griffin Benger also at the table.

On her double-up hand, Rousso bet 3,300 on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and Trickett raised to 6,600. Rousso jammed and Trickett called. Rousso held the {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Trickett the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. After the turn {2-Hearts} and river {7-Clubs}, Rousso backed into a full house and cracked Trickett's flopped straight.

Shortly following that, Rousso was in action on the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} flop against Barbero and Lind. Barbero was first and checked. Then, Lind checked and Rousso checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Barbero bet 3,500. Lind made the call before Rousso put in a raise to 9,500. Barbero tank-folded and Lind quickly gave it up.

On the very next hand, Rousso raised to 2,000 from the hijack seat and Trickett three-bet to 5,300 from the cutoff seat. Action folded back to Rousso and she four-bet to 10,300. Trickett snap-folded his hand after she reraised and Rousso showed him the {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Rousso Happy To Play With 20BB

Nível 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso started the day with around 22BB and quite a tough looking table. Add Sam Trickett, the world's top online MTT player Griffin Benger and fellow Team PokerStars Pro Nacho Barbero into the mix and you have a tough days work ahead of you.

Rousso opened to 2,000 in middle position and Juan Gonzalez Venzano three-bet to 5,000 on the button. The camera crews swarmed around her as the all-in shove or fold was anticipated. Instead Rousso decided to call and the pair shared a flop of {J-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}. Rousso checked and Venzano bet 3,500.

"Rousso is about to go all-in," said one of the camera crew on the floor.

Rousso removed her chip off her cards and slid them unseen to the dealer. Maybe next time?

Perfect start for Fitoussi

Bruno Fitoussi came back with 14,000 chips this morning but is already up to 50,000. We witnessed him doubling up through Ognjen Sekularac.

The two were heads up to a {9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Fitoussi shoved for his last remaining 14,400. There was around 18,000 in the middle and Sekularac made the call with {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. It was no good though as the Frenchman tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and his hand held through the {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} turn and river.

Moneymaker Hits The River

Team PokerStars Pro Pierre Neuville raised to 1,800 in the hijack seat and fellow Team Pro Chris Moneymaker called on the button. The flop was {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} {2-Clubs} and Neuville made a 2,200 c-bet which was called by Moneymaker. We had the customary check-check on the {10-Hearts} turn before we reached the final card which was {5-Hearts}. Neuville checked, Moneymaker bet 6,700 and after a dwell Neuville made the call.

"I hit the river," says Moneymaker as he showed down {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} and Neuville mucked his hand.

Kenney Kills Kevin

Kevin MacPhee's dream of a spin-up day 2 have been dashed by Bryn Kenney.

Tom Marchese opened to 2,000 from early position before MacPhee shoved for 14,000 from the button and Kenney re-shoved from the small blind. Marchese folded to leave them to it.

MacPhee: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Kenney: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to improve neither player.
