The 2012 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final
Short Ones
- Power poker from David "Doc" Sands jumps him into the lead. He was up against Tibor Nagygyorgy and the two had made it to the turn where the board read with 65,000 in the middle. Sands was first to act and set Nagygyorgy all-in for his remaining 110,000. The Hungaarian tanked for an age before he open folded . Sands didn't return the favour.
- Vanessa Rousso is out. Jeremy nock kindly told us she shoved her last 3,800 in with queen-jack off and was raised to 6,000 by one players before another player re-raised to 25,000 with . The first raiser folded and the Team PokerStars Pro found no help on the board.
- Johnny Lodden's resurgence is continuing. He's up to 190,000 chips now.

Mercier Picking Up Chips
When we arrived at the table, Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier was in action on the flop against Joel Bez and Ole [Removed:332]. Action was checked by Bel and then [Removed:332] before Mercier fired 3,200. Only Bez made the call.
The paired the board on the turn and both players checked to see the land on the river. Bez checked and Mercier bet 7,100. Bez took a minute, then folded. Mercier won the pot and moved to 81,000 in chips.

Heinz Eliminates Neilsen
We just caught Team PokerStars Pro Pius Heinz moving over the 100k mark. All five of the community cards were on the table and Heinz had moved all-in from the hijack. The player with the decision was Claus Bek Nielsen in the blinds.
Board:
Nielsen tanked for an eternity before eventually making the call. Heinz turned over and Nielsen flung his hidden cards to the dealer and left his seat.
Bonomo On a Roll
Justin Bonomo may well be on a little heater here at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final. He has just won the €100,000 Super High Roller for €1,600,000 and he is now our chip leader with 242,000 chips.
We caught the action on a flop and there were three players with cards on their backs.

So Sigsbee was looking good for a double up, but the deck had other plans. The turn and then the river handing Bonomo a bigger full house and two people were sent spiralling towards the rail.

News in Brief
- Faraz Jaka bet 18,000 into a 14,000-chip pot on the river of a board. Isaac Baron was in the big blind and had the clock called on him, waited until his time was almost up, and then called. Jaka showed him for the rivered nuts.
- Barry Greenstein busted Christophe Benzimra in a cooler set-over-set scenario.
- Toby Lewis is out. He four-bet jammed with from the button only for Scott Seiver to wake up with in the small blind.

New Look For TV Table, Same Look For Obrestad
There’s a new look to the feature table at the Grand Final but Annette Obrestad continues to menace, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
