Early McCorkell Action
Craig McCorkell likes playing poker in Monaco. His biggest ever live score came here two season’s ago when he finished 9th in the Grand Final main event for €100,000. At the time it hurt him a lot, being the final table bubble boy, but he must be proud looking back.
He’s not gotten off to the best of starts today though. As we approached his table he was folding to a post flop bet from Justin Bonomo, and he lost the next pot as well.
He opened to 225 from the cut-off and called when Matt Jarvis three-bet to 700 from the button. Both players checked the flop before McCorkell led for 1,025 on the turn. Jarvis called before both players checked the river.
McCorkell had a resigned look upon his face as he opened . He was right too as well as Jarvis opened .
