From 73 players at the beginning of Day 2, only 18 remain and have qualified for Day 3 of the 2023 €560 Eurasian Poker Tour Main Event at the 888poker Room in Bucharest.
Out of 486 entries, they'll come back to the last two tables of the tournament tomorrow, Sunday, November 12, hoping to reach the final table and then take for the €36,000 first-place prize.
Day 2 was pretty short (only seven levels of play), but Gheorghe Butuc didn't need more to build up a stack of 2,725,000, the biggest one of all. With him, only Razvan Paduraru (2,300,000) and Sebastian Ionita (2,000,000) managed to end the Day with more than two millions chips.

A big gap of almost twenty blinds separates the first three players from Vlad Murgulet (1,350,000), Cristian Rajala (1,340,000), and the rest of the Top 10. With 1,060,000 chips, Andrei Nodea (1,060,000) is one of these players, as he took Alexandru Anghel's stack to end the Day.
Chip leader when Day 2 started, Ionut Voinea is now in the second half of the field (1,045,000), with Bogdan Trifanescu (665,000), Raoul Iancovici (500,000), and Andrei Iordache (440,000), who holds the shortest stack. More than aiming to win, their first goal will be to secure a seat at the final table.
Day 3 is scheduled to begin on at 2 p.m. local time. Play will resume with 40:00 remaining on Level 23, which features 20,000/40,000 blinds with a 40,000 big blind ante. Then, levels will increase to 60 minutes, and keep running until a winner is crowned.
